The philosophy behind this project is to create large unobstructed space to allow the students to efficiently utilize their classroom as well as to make the whole structure as lightweight as possible. Creating a sustainable environment for the students which will allow them to grow and develop a strong personality.

The space created inside will reach its maximum potential by adding open able louver windows for better sunlight thus creating a secured as well as an open space suitable for classroom. Light plays an important role in the design of the project, as it consistently draws attention to the forms.

The prototype for the project combines through three solutions: A sustainable financial model, the increasing need of sustainable energy, building materials to be sourced locally and built with local labour wherever possible. The steel roof trusses, replacing the traditional concrete roof slabs, were designed using very thin steel profiles; the idea was to optimize the design so much that the entire primary roof structure becomes lightweight.

The roof sits on steel trusses at an angle to create a slope enough for increasing in ventilation through aluminium louvers and collection of rainwater through the gutter to RWHT. However the toilet area is covered with a slab above to accommodate the water tank and additional storage space. The space constantly changes with day-light; underlying the different textures and colours as well.
