Although they owned two acres of land, our client’s requirements were simple and subtle. They asked us to build a single level pavilion as a retreat to escape the frenetic pace of busy urban life and to connect with nature.

We proposed a single level house spatially subdivided onto two primary zones; one for engagement with the family during the day and the other as a quiet retreat at night. The living spaces are extroverted and permeable allowing nature to penetrate its envelope; the private spaces are introverted and protected. A pool house is added beside the pool to spend time with family and friends. The bedrooms directly overlooks the courtyard as well.
