The area of central vista is planned and developed into multiple zones keeping the focus on historical importance, existing features and inclusive contemporary development. The entire project has been conceived as a pedestrian friendly zone (no vehicular zone) and necessary parking spaces has been constructed on the periphery of the earmarked project area. A corridor of land in the project in front of Sri Jagannath temple has been maintained in the original state has been dedicated as 'Rath Yathra Marg' to keep the essence of the historical/heritage aura alive.
